Sanjay Gawde is our Subject Matter Expert on Total Rewards. An engineer by education, HR by choice, Sanjay has over 12 years experience spread over Engineering, ITES, Consulting and Manufacturing sectors managing various aspects of Human Resources function. He considers himself as a keen observer of behaviour and is a passionate rewards professional. He has a strong mix of line HR as well as consulting experience which provides an edge to his insights. He started as an Engineer with a large India Construction House before choosing HR as his career.
He spent early years of his career in Line HR managing various aspects of employee engagement, talent management, staffing, performance management, HR Analytics, training and leadership development and HR operations before moving on to a leading rewards consulting company. He has worked extensively with IT, ITES, Manufacturing and Banking sectors as part of his consulting experience, working with leading Indian and MNC organizations. He is currently a senior HR leader with a US-based manufacturing MNC leading HR and IR for its Indian plant. He works with SHRM India as a part of our expert panel.
He is Graduate in Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University and holds a MMS degree from JBIMS, Mumbai.
